Genetics & Reproduction
Laboratories in the Genetics and Reproduction group study the genetic causes of inherited diseases and traits of animals, and the basic mechanisms of fertilization and sexual development. Studies in both areas are leading to improved diagnostic, prevention, and treatment strategies, as well as promoting the preservation of genetic diversity.
